Suitable for balancing rotors with reduced axial length compared to the diameter, with or without its own shaft. Vertical axis balancing machines can be made for measuring and correcting rotors on a single plane or on two planes, with weights from a few grams up to 3000 kg.

In vertical axis balancing, particular attention must be paid to the device for fixing the piece on the machine (adapter or tool) which must be practical and quick to use but above all precise. To prevent assembly eccentricity from causing balancing errors, all CEMB instruments have automatic electronic correction systems for the eccentricity of the tool.
