VIBROCONTROL 1800
Compact and versatile machine protection system
The VIBROCONTROL 1800 (VC-1800) series cost-effectively monitors vibration on most rotating equipment with either rolling-element bearings or sleeve bearings. Depending on your application, you may choose from amongst 3 monitoring devices:
- Monitor casing vibration on rolling-element bearing machines with
- either VIBROCONTROL 1850 (using acceleration sensors IEPE/CCS) or
- VIBROCONTROL 1860 (using velocity sensors)
- Monitor axial position and relative shaft vibration on sleeve-bearing machines with
- VIBROCONTROL 1870 (using displacement sensors)
In addition to reliable machine protection, the VIBROCONTROL 18xx series of compact monitors offers condition monitoring and diagnostics functionality. VC-18xx stores and trends scalar vibration and process data as well as the original time waveform signals. Frequency spectra are available for post-processed using FFT analysis.
The instruments are extremely flexible due to their modular link concept. They are accessible from remote.
And a “super relay” compliant to ISO/EN 13849-1 provides exceptionally reliable machine protection by offering 2 mechanical relays that are coupled in series for redundancy.

The VIBROCONTROL 18xx series features:
- Up to four vibration channels
- Additional two channels for process and tacho/speed
- Four outputs configurable between relays and analog outputs
- Communication via ethernet, USB, RS-485,offering OPC UA, Modbus TCP/RTU protocol
- Time waveform recording and data storage on PC/server
- User-definable frequency bands
- Optional software providing a wide range of vibration analyzing and diagnostic functions
